757 is a design studio founded by graphic designer Vaughn Shim and space designer John Han. At 757, our goal is to create a better lifestyle by studying the things people wear and eat and the places where people stay.
We intend not to be bound by the limits of domains or fields, and hope to make people’s lives better by collaborating with professionals, artists and brands of all fields.

Designer :
Vaughn is a graphic designer, and John is a space designer. As a pair, we have experienced an energy that inspires us both while working together on several projects to design spaces and furniture pieces. Thus, we decided to found a design studio called 757 to continue our journey as creative designers, inspiring companions and good friends.
“What we are doing together is similar to a great journey. Being with a good partner, sharing our ideas and visions and working together to achieve our goals- such process is not far from the essence of a journey. A journey is always fun and exciting. We are curious and excited to see the geography of the road that we will embark together.”
Making an Edition :
At 757, we call the process of collaborating with a manufacturer or a brand ‘Making an Edition.’ We have started our first edition with lighting, and plan to present more editions with various objects and concepts.
Making of the First Edition : Lighting
‘757xVEEEEN’- 757’s first edition, was created through collaboration with lighting manufacturer Wonki Cho.
Cho is a designer, who hopes to deliver the unique beauty of lighting through good design and manufacturing based on creative ideas regardless of trends.
We found that such philosophy of him has a line of connection with out belief at 757, and thus begun our collaboration. VEEEEN, the brand led by Cho, is expecting to release lightings in various styles in the future, and planning to expand into broader markets in the abroad.
Making of the Second Edition : Furniture
The second edition of 757 will be furniture. The second edition will consists of wood and metal furniture pieces. For wood pieces, we are involved in a project with a craftsman, who is more than capable of bringing the designs of 757 into life. For metal pieces, we are currently discussing options with a professional specializing in furniture distribution.
Galaxy Chandelier
“Beautifully balanced stars floating over a golden line”
The Galaxy Chandelier expresses the beautiful stars twinkling over the golden orbits of planets.
It was inspired by an idea that “the lightings installed over our heads are similar to the sun, moon and stars twinkling over our heads.” In other words, The Galaxy Chandelier contains the beautiful stars forming and maintaining a system within the rules of the universe

Belt Icon
The Belt is a lighting inspired by length-adjustable purse straps.
Users can conveniently adjust the strap on the Belt.
Various colors and materials for the strap will be introduced to create more diverse atmospheres.
The body was made with aluminum with low thermal conductivity for safety.
The Belt Icon is a version applied with classic or unique light bulbs without the lampshade to beautifully illuminate the space.
Wire Tray Cart
We wanted to create a cart of a simple structure with a frame, tray and castors made of wood.
Safety was another important element considering the mobility of the cart.
The Wire Tray Cart was designed from a physical sketch using a single strand of wire based on our ideas and concerns.
With the Wire Tray Cart, we tried to understand and reflect the functional essence of the product before its outward design, and throughout the process,we had a good time questioning us once again about “what really is a good design?

Curv Table Lamp
The Curv Lighting was inspired by the stairway handrails installed in buildings.
It has an asymmetrical shape with the cylinder-like shade connected to the curved frame, and the asymmetry of the lamp presents the beauty of changing its shape in different perspectives.
Pipe Spotlight
The Pipe Spotlight is a result produced to express the light from spotlights that fills up the spaces in a more unique and stunning way.
It can be styled variously by expanding the units or combining different colors.
